FORT Building Galore! (registered and parented)
Saturday, March 17, Age 12 and under. 10:00 AM- 12:00 noon. Come build a cozy place to read your favourite books. You bring your imagination, we’ll supply the boxes and duct tape. Together we’ll create your own special space to read and listen to stories.

Little Learners Storytime from A to Z! Developing Early Literacy Skills Through Books (registered and parented)
For three, four, and five year olds. 10:15-11:15 AM Wednesdays beginning Jan 18. This program will run 12 weeks (a midpoint break will occur Feb 29 and March 28, 2012) a dairy snack will be provided. Please bring your own snack if there are allergy concerns.
A program designed for preschool to kindergarten children focusing on:
· letter recognition
· letter/ sound relationships
· listening and reading comprehension
· printing skills (upper case will be the class focus covering letters D,E,F,M,N,P,R additional letters will be covered if time allows)

Science for the Curious Minds – After School Club (registered)
This After School Club takes place Thursdays 4:00-5:00 PM in the program room beginning March 8-April 12 (March 8, 15, 22, April 5, 12. No club on March 29) for five weeks.
Engaging activities for Grades 1 – 3. Watch for upcoming science club for Grades 4-6 on the library website.
Children will be actively involved in experiments, for one hour of science each session. Session provided by Telus World of Science. We believe science is very important to our community and should be the most fun and cool subject to learn. During the 5 weeks,
children will be engaged in hands-on activities, watch spectacular demonstrations, and participate in enquiry-based discussions that explore a wide variety of scientific topics which are as entertaining as they are educational.
FEE:$35 per child (maximum 25 children). Payment (cash or cheque) secures registration. Please contact Youth Services
Coordinator Leah Woodford at 780-986-2637 to set up a drop-off time. Deadline for payments is February 10, 2012 a minimum of 15 children must be registered to run program.
Should registration deadlines not be met, your original payment will be available for pick up the week of February 20-24, 2012.
